*Special Stitches:
Chainless starting double crochet- I make my CSDC just like a dc. It will be hidden behind your other stitches, so there is no need to do the traditional twist before you start your stitch.

Hat- With White, Hot Pink, and an H hook
Note: I’ve omitted the chains at the begging of the rounds to get rid of the seam. I’ve added the chainless starting double crochet instead. The CSDC of each round will act like your chain and will be hidden in your work and not crocheted into. Make sure you place your last dc in the same stitch you placed your CSDC, and slst to the 1st dc of the round. You’ll be skipping over the CSDC when you slst to join.
