Free Crochet Ribbon Sisters Pattern (Mod)

I made these cute sisters from the hamandeggs Sarah pattern. Here are my notes if you'd like to make one of your own!

What you'll need:
*Size E and G hooks
*I Love this Cotton in White, Taupe, Red, Grey  (Pewter), Yellow (Curry), Bright Green, Black, and Blue (Turquoise)
*Tapestry needle
*Scissors
*Stuffing

Abbreviations: 

ch- chain 
slst- slip stitch 
BB- back bump 
sc- single crochet  
hdc- half double crochet 
MC- magic circle 

mp- mini picot (ch2, sc in 2nd ch)

Ribbon Sisters
Shoes: White rounds 1-6, embroider red squares with a tapestry needle.
Pants: Grey rounds 7-14
Body: Blue rounds 1-19
Skirt: Blue rounds 1-4, White sc around for round 5
Arms: Taupe rounds 1-3, Blue rounds 4-17
Head: in Taupe

Hair: With black and a G  hook 

Row 1: ch31, sc in the BB of 2nd ch from hook and each BB across. (30)
Row 2-20: ch1 and turn, sc in each stitch across. Tie off and leave an extra long tail. (30) Weave your tail down the side of your hair through the stitches. Pull the tail tight to cinch. Place a few stitches around your cinched hair to secure it. Tie off and weave in ends. Bangs: Attach black at the top of your hair to the right side and place 12sc across the top. Sc in each stitch across for 6 rows. (12) Tie off and leave a tail for sewing.

Glasses: With black, red, yellow, green, white, and a G hook
Starting with black (Make 4)
Round 1: MC, ch1 and place 6sc in the MC. Slst to join. (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each stitch around. (12)
Round 3: (*2sc, sc) repeat from * around. (18)
Round 4: (*2sc, sc in next 2 stitches) repeat from * around. (24) Tie off and weave in ends.

For 2 of the glasses:
Switch to yellow
Round 5: sc 9, 2hdc, (hdc, mp, hdc), 2hdc, sc 9, 2hdc, (hdc, mp, hdc), 2hdc. Slst to join. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. With a little bit of white, sew on the line according to pics. 

Middle and side of glasses:

With Red, attach yarn to the middle of glasses and ch3, slst to the other middle of glasses. Attach yarn to the side and ch5. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. Repeat for other side. 

For 2 of the glasses:
Switch to Red
Round 5: sc 9, 2hd, 2hdc, 2hdc, sc 9, 2hdc, 2hdc, 2hdc. Slst. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. With a little bit of white, sew on the line according to pics.

Middle and side of glasses:

With Red, attach yarn to the middle of glasses and ch3, slst to the other middle of glasses. Attach yarn to the side and ch5. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. Repeat for other side. 

Star (Make 2): With green and an E Hook.
Round 1: MC, (*ch3, sc in 2nd ch and next ch, slst in MC,) repeat from * 4 more times. Sew to top of glasses according to pics. 

Glasses Sewing: Sew glasses on to head after sewing on the hair. Leave the very top of the glasses and the left side of the left circle and right side of the right circle unsewn so that the glasses don't lay flat.

Mouth: With black and a tapestry needle, sew on a mouth.

Ribbon (Make 2): With red and a G hook
Row 1: ch 31, sc in the BB of 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. (30) Tie off and weave in ends.
