Free Crochet Belle Headband Pattern

This super cute Belle headband makes the perfect quick accessory for your little princess! You can find the PDF version in my Ravelry shop! 

Belle Headband

What you’ll need:

*Size H hook

*I Love This Yarn in Brown, Red, Yellow

*Tapestry needle for sewing and weaving in ends

*Stuffing for the bun

*Scissors

*Headband

      

Gauge: With an H hook 6dc and 4 rows= 2”x 2”

Abbreviations:

*ch- chain

*slst- slip stitch

*sc- single crochet

*scdec- single crochet decrease

*dc- double crochet

*MC- Magic Circle

Bun- With Brown and an H hook

Round 1: MC, ch1 and place 6sc in the MC. Slst to join. (6) Now work in continuous rounds

Round 2: 2sc in each stitch around. (12)

Round 3: (*2sc, sc) repeat from * around. (18)

Round 4: (*2sc, sc next 2 stitches) repeat from * around. (24)

Round 5: (*2sc, sc next 3 stitches) repeat from * around. (30)

Round 6: (*2sc, sc next 4 stitches) repeat from * around. (36)

Round 7: (*2sc, sc next 5 stitches) repeat from * around. (42)

Round 8: (*2sc, sc next 6 stitches) repeat from * around. (48)

Round 9-13: sc in each stitch around. (48)

Round 14: (*scdec, sc next 6 stitches) repeat from * around. (42)

Round 15: (*scdec, sc next 5 stitches) repeat from * around. (36)

Round 16: (*scdec, sc next 4 stitches) repeat from * around. (30)

Round 17: (*scdec, sc next 3 stitches) repeat from * around. (24)

Round 18: (*scdec, sc next 2 stitches) repeat from * around. (18) Stuff.

Round 19: (*scdec, sc) repeat from * around. (12)

Round 20: scdec around. (6) Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. Stuff Bun. Sew on to center of headband.

Curls (make 4)- With Brown and an H hook

Row 1: ch61, place 3dc in the BB of the 2^nd ch from hook and each BB across. Tie off and sew to bottom of bun.

Ribbon- With Yellow and an H hook

Row 1: ch51, sc in BB of 2^nd ch from hook and each BB across. Tie off and weave in ends. Tie Ribbon around bun.

Rose- With Red and an H hook

Row 1: ch 51, place the following in each BB across starting with the 2^nd ch from hook. (*5dc, 4dc, 5tr, 6tr) repeat from * across.

*Unwind your row, take your starting point, and wrap the row around itself to form your rose.

*Tie off and leave a tail for sewing.

*Sew petals in to place and sew rose to left side of headband.
