Free Crochet Rapunzel Headband Pattern


This super cute Rapunzel headband makes the perfect quick accessory for your little princess! You can find the PDF version in my Ravelry shop! 

Rapunzel Headband


What you’ll need:
*Size H hook
*I Love This Yarn in Yellow, Light Pink, Light Purple, Blue, Dark Purple, and Hot Pink
*Tapestry needle for sewing and weaving in ends
*Scissors
*Headband
      
Gauge:
With an H hook 6dc and 4 rows= 2”x 2”
 
Abbreviations:
*MC- magic circle
*ch- chain
*slst- slip stitch
*sc- single crochet
*dc- double crochet

Headband Base- With yellow, headband, and an H hook
With yellow yarn, sc around your headband making sure to push your stitches together as you go to cover the whole headband. 

Hair- With yellow
*Cut 20 pieces of yarn at 4’ in length and attach 2 pieces to each stitch on the left side of the headband
*Separate your pieces in to 3 sections and braid your hair. *Tie a knot at the bottom and trim the ends.

Flowers- with Light Pink, Light Purple, Blue, Dark Purple, and Hot Pink and an H hook
Round 1: Place the following in the MC. (*ch2, 2dc, ch2, slst) repeat from * 4 more times. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. Sew flowers on to braid. (The butterfly was from a different toy)
