Free Crochet Pumpkin Pattern

These adorable guys are so quick and easy to make! Their bumpy texture is so perfect for adding to your fall decor!

Materials Needed
*I Love This yarn (4-medium) in Orange, Brown, and Green. 
*Size H (5mm) and E hooks (3.5mm)
*Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
*Scissors
*Stitch Marker
*Stuffing  

Gauge: With an H hook, 7sc and 6 rows of pattern = 2x2"

Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
BB: back bump
Slst: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet 
MC: magic circle
( ): repeat same stitches 
Bbl (bobble): 4dc in same stitch

Special Stitch:
Bobble Stitch: yarn over, insert your hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull through, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. Repeat 3 more times. Yarn over and pull through remaining loops. (See YouTube tutorial)

Big Pumpkin in Orange and H hook:
Row 1: ch31 and turn, sc in each stitch across. (30)
Row 2: ch1 and turn, sc, (bbl, sc x 2) across. (30)
Row 3: ch1 and turn, sc across. (30)
Row 4: ch1 and turn, sc x 2, (bbl, sc x 2, bbl) across, sc. (30)
Row 5: ch1 and turn, sc across. (30)
Row 6-18: repeat rows 2-5. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. 

Finishing: 
1. Fold your piece in half and cinch the top together by weaving your needle through the stitches and pulling tight.
2. Sew up the back. 
3. Stuff.
4. Cinch the bottom together by weaving your needle through the stitches and pulling tight. 
5. Insert your needle through the top and pull through the bottom, then through the bottom back up. Repeat a few times and pull tight.

Stem in Brown and E hook:
Round 1: MC, ch1 and place 8sc in the MC. (8)
Round 2: (2sc, sc) around. (10)
Round 3-9: sc around. (10) Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. Stuff and sew on to center of pumpkin.

Curl in Green and H hook:
Row 1: ch11 and turn, place 3sc in the BB of each stitch across. Tie off and leave a tail for sewing. sew on to side of stem.
